About This Project

Project Name: Moving a Used Caterpillar Excavator (CAT385C) Rig with all accessories.

Overweight & Oversize Units.

Cargo Details: 

A Used Caterpillar Excavator (CAT385C) coupled with Mono boom & Counterweight.

Main parts weight is 114Ton.

Accessories: Excavator several compactions and other several parts with extra length upto 24 meters.

Total weight of accessories. 115ton

 

 

Pickup Location: From Swaqa site (110 KM south Amman / Jordan).         

 

Final Destination: Jeddah KSA via Zarqa Free Zone (ZFZ).

 

Short Description: 

We are proud to say that we managed to secure this Job through one of our distinguished clients, who has Confidence with our performance.

Being a multitask job that requires full preparations and precautions in all related aspects, we can say that:  this project is unique and important, hence we have applied a high safety & Environmental standers HSE to assure a safe and secured delivery.

 

Moving this Shipment -Excavator and all accessories- required 9 truck trailers of several types as specified below:

 

  • 6 x standard Truck Trailers:  3x flatbed + 3x Wall sided trailer. 
  • 1x low bed trailer 18M. Length.
  • 1x long Carrier Trailer 24 M. Length
  • 1x wide & Long Low Bed Truck/ Trailer with 9 Axles, 18m length, 4 m. width & 120 ton payload Capacity.

 Our scope of work was in three stages:

 

1st.

 Loading the Caterpillar Excavator with all related parts from Swaqa site 110 KM south Amman / Jordan. Upon trucks arrival to the site, our working team was ready at site with all related equipments, they used all required tools to comply with safety instructions and secured loading, by applying special lashing Ratchet & Cam Buckle, fixing the fitted dunnage and using appropriate Load binder chains and standard Slings…etc

 

2nd.

 Moving the loaded trucks from Swaqa Site to Z. F. Z. -150.K.M North East Amman- escorted by our Patrols Front & Rear, all trucks arrived and entered Z.F.Z. to start customs formalities.

 

3rd.

 After completing the Customs Formalities, all trucks departed Z.F.Z heading towards Al Omary the Jordanian borderers then to Al Haditha the Saudi Border; upon completing the Customs Formalities, all trucks departed heading to Jeddah City - the final destination 1400 K.M- except the Low bed Trailer which required a longer period during inspection at boarder and delivery time which arrived on 2nd of May 2018.

 

The complete 9 Truck Shipment has been delivered Safe & Sound in the best order and to the best satisfaction of our Client, escorted by Patrols for safety purposes.
